More about SkillsUSA Diman students find pot of gold at SkillsUSA state competition There may well have been a leprechaun on the bus with Diman students last weekend, because they earned a pot of gold at the 39th annual SkillsUSA State Leadership and Skill Conference in Marlboro on April 26 and 27. Diman students earned 48 medals, including 33 coveted gold medals. The gold medal winners will move onto the national SkillsUSA Championships held in June in Kansas City. Story continues. If you have problems please see Mrs. Mancini in the guidance office. 16 Diman students take medals in 47th National Leadership and Skills ConferenceThe Olympics may be garnering a lot of attention when it comes to awarding medals, but a group of students from Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School is trying to steal some of the spotlight.
Sixteen students earned either gold, silver or bronze medals in the 47th annual National Leadership and Skills Conference. Another 18 students placed within the top 20 in their respective competitions. Story continues. Of the 84 Diman students competing, 51 returned with Massachusetts State SkillsUSA medals, including 36 gold medal winners, 10 silver medal winners and five bronze medal winners.
